Integral Showings uses artificial intelligence to answer and process telephone calls on behalf of participating businesses. This page explains what that means in plain terms. It is a summary for callers and customers - the governing legal terms are in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

What the AI receptionist does

  • Answers an inbound call on behalf of the business you called, in a synthesized voice.
  • Asks questions the business has configured, to understand who is calling and why.
  • Answers questions about the business using information the business provided.
  • Records and transcribes the call, and generates a written summary for the business.
  • Estimates how promising the call is as a lead, using an automated label and score.
  • Can take a message or offer to schedule a follow-up, depending on how the business configured it.

You are told when you are talking to it

A caller reaching a business's AI receptionist is told, near the start of the call, that they may be speaking with an automated system and that the call may be recorded. Nothing about the Service is designed to make a caller believe they are speaking with a human when they are not.

What it is not

  • It is not a person, and it does not have judgment, discretion, or authority beyond what it was configured to do.
  • It does not give legal, medical, financial, tax, insurance, or real-estate valuation advice, and nothing it says should be treated as such.
  • It is not an emergency service. See our Call Recording Policy and Terms of Service for more.
  • It does not make a binding promise or commitment on behalf of the business it answers for - it relays and transmits information, and anything said on a call should be confirmed with the business directly for anything that matters.

It can make mistakes

The AI receptionist relies on speech recognition and language-processing technology, and it can mishear a caller, misunderstand context, or summarize something incorrectly. Its output - including any automated lead-quality label - is a machine-generated estimate, not a verified fact, and should be checked before being relied on for anything important.
